On Sunday evening I was fortunate enough to work behind the scenes at Love Threads Project “She Dreams” as they launched their collection Love Thread & Co.
She Dreams Project was apart of Telstra’s Perth Fashion Week Cultural program which also saw, the collaboration of other local designers like Hello Parry, Wild Horses and Indonesian local designer, IMAJI studio.
LTP & Co. designs were feminine and chic. I especially loved the romantic ruffles, a huge trend this spring.
Hello Parry upheld its fun and playful designs with a focus on stripes and bare shoulders. Designs that are worn so easily but always with style.
The Kimono Vibe is another massive trend for this Spring and Wild Horses made it look flawless. The softness of the peach and blue created instant sexiness.
This project has gained a huge social following and loving response not only from myself but also other fellow bloggers and creatives in the industry because of the true cause behind this project .
Angelina Lloyd, creator of Love Thread Project has set out with a savvy and big hearted team to improve the opportunities for Balinese Communities with her fashion program. The skills that are taught will enable them to gain employment and avoid modern slavery that is so apparent today.
The Love Thread Project team will be showcasing more events in the near future as apart of the #fashionforgood movement.
I can’t wait for the next LTP event and another opportunity to support a team that aims to create social change through the fashion.
